Project of the Month – November 2025
Glass Staircase Bognor Regis
Our Model 500 staircase is one of our most popular designs, featuring a modern and open structure that appeals to developers. Typically, it comes with solid hardwood treads, but it can also be constructed with ultra-modern glass steps. These glass steps are made from three layers of 10mm toughened glass, laminated for strength, creating a stunningly transparent staircase. This month’s project in Bognor Regis showcases this beautifully.
Our client was renovating their house, modernising every aspect, and wanted a show-stopping staircase. Once we suggested glass steps, they were excited to move forward with the design. They also opted for brushed stainless steel stringers in a zig-zag shape, framed glass panels for the balustrade, and vertical stainless steel newel posts topped with a brushed stainless handrail. The staircase features a quarter-turn configuration, running along a wall before turning at the top to meet the floor. A matching landing balustrade was included to secure the upstairs opening, and riser bars were added to comply with building regulations. At just 800mm wide, the stairway saves space in the room below while providing access to one bedroom and a bathroom.
From the photos, it’s clear this staircase has become a stunning focal point for the property.
