Karina Space Saving Staircase

The Karina Staircase is a space saving flight with special paddle steps.  Each step is shaped so it takes up less space which enables the system to fit in the tightest spaces.

This stair is generally sold for loft conversions and access to mezzanine decks or anywhere that is classed as a secondary domestic stair.   The stand kit consists of 12 risers with beech treads, an interlocking steel spine and balustrade to one side.

The interlocking spine can pivot so the stair can be fitted in a curve as well as a straight flight.  It is however worth checking if your building inspector is happy with the shape before purchase. Paddle steps are covered by UK building regulations but only as a straight flight.
