Mini Space Saving Staircase

The Mini Space Saving Staircase is a wonderful innovative solution for accessing a loft space or mezzanine deck.   It’s paddle / alternator steps means the stair has a much smaller footprint than a normal stair and therefore takes up less space.   The staircase is supported by a special interlocking steel spine making it look modern and stylish whilst allowing the passage of light.

The treads are beech and the standard kit had either 11 or 12 risers depending on your height.  Included in the pack is balustrade (vertical steel spindles and beech handrail) to one side of the staircase.  Balustrade for the second side can be purchased if not next to a wall and it can also be purchased for the upper floor level to run horizontally.

One aspect of the Mini stair that makes it unique are the configurations it can create.  Using a mini platform it can form a 1/4 or a 1/2 turn meaning it has far more possible configuration solutions than a normal paddle stair.
