Staircase Photo Competition 2015
Normally – February each year marks the start of our annual photo competition when we invite our previous year’s clients to take a set of pictures of the stair we supplied them. Slightly delayed this year for one reason or another, so, the competition has been taking place this month.
We had to extend the deadline by a couple of weeks due to people being on holiday (note for next year – do not run competition in summer) but we still got a great response.
Two spiral staircases became 2015 champions from the 5 finalists submitted by us. The winner/s were voted for via our fans from our facebook page with the final judgement made by our favorite local professional photographers Sandra and Lee at www.romseyfotografix.co.uk. Thanks to everyone that entered!!
The picture above were the final 5 submitted by us for final analysis. We had –
Cheshire – Model 76 glass spiral staircase with curved glass balustrade
Wallingford – Double flight spiral stair with ‘petal’ shaped timber treads and a powder coated structure.
France – Model 76 Glass tread spiral with a huge platform at floor level and vertical stainless spindles
Switzerland – Floating WF style staircase – double flight with two quarter turns.
Petersfield – Small spiral with a unique solid steel panels balustrade structure and oak treads.
First Prize was the latest iPad and Second Prize was a Kindle Fire.
