Spiral Staircase and Staircase News

7th December 2010

We visited one of our suppliers in Sweden earlier this year and thought we would post a few pictures of our trip.

They produce our stunning modern and open timber staircases - each one custom made for each customer.

They had just installed a couple of new machines which improved precision in cutting the timber stringer and gave more control with the smaller details.  Whilst there we had some intensive training on the staircase drawing program which we hope to progress with back in the UK and provide drawings when preparing quotations.

The staircases manufactured at this factory are -

The WF bespoke timber staircase

The Traditional style bespoke timber staircase

The Stepped Style bespoke timber staircase

The Spirit style bespoke timber staircase

All can be produced in any configuration and in a variety of timbers.  Very modern and open flights.

Some pictures just in showing a stunning half turn timber staircase installed earlier this year.  The second matching model down to the basement is being installed next week.

This model has oak treads and white painted stringers to both sides.  The internal stringer is curved at the turn to create an impressive swoop effect.

This stunning stair is based on our traditional structure.  Traditional by name but not by nature as you can see the modern twist using traditional materials.  We call it the traditional structure as the stair is supported by ‘conventional’ stringers to each side.
To view other stairs in the same ‘traditional’ structure by in different designs / materials please have a look here -
For a price, please let us know the configuration, the floor to floor height and an idea of the materials you would like.
