A stunning bespoke timber staircase supplied to a customer in the New Forest ‚Äď Lyndhurst to be precise. Our customer met us at the National Homebuilding show in Birmingham last year and was building his dream home. He required an open, light, bespoke timber staircase to create a real impression when entering the property whilst not dominating the view.
Together we went with the WF bespoke timber staircase which has floating tread on the internal side. Solid Oak treads and wall stringer were complimented with light brushed stainless steel spindles to the internal side and glass infill panels on the landing level. Our customer went with the curved internal handrail adding a real swoop as it twisted around.
The end result was striking, with the oak blending in with the surrounds and the open feel allowing light to pass through from the front of the property to the back.
The WF staircase is a bespoke timber staircase available in any hardwood and can be purchased as a straight flight staircase, a quarter turn staircase and a half turn staircase. It is one of our most popular designs and each flight is made to measure for the application. Please have a look at further examples below.

A couple of pics of a straight flight Oak stair supplied to a small property developer in Chesterfield.  The pictures were taken just after installation with the flooring and surrounding area still to be finished.
This model was our traditional style timber staircase with glass balustrade to one side.¬† The risers were open and the bottom step had a half bullnose tread.¬† A great modern, functional¬†alternative to a ‘boring’ boxed in staircase blocking the light and dominating a room.
Further examples of this type of staircase can be viewed below.

Some great pictures of a straight flight model 500 supplied to new build in Guildford.
This model had Oak treads with steel stepped stringers to either side.  The risers were fully closed with toughened glass infill panels and a floating, frameless glass balustrade was fitted to one side.
The result was a truly open, stunning staircase which enhanced the property and enticed people upstairs.
This laminated glass balustrade design is becoming very popular and we will have some more pictures to post soon of similar models.  This stair can be purchase in a quarter turn, half turn or straight flight and the frameless balustrade can also be supplied for landing levels.

We recently supplied a quarter turn WF beech staircase to a customer in Sussex. Due to them having an additional steel beam installed to support the floor above, the headroom on the staircase became too small to meet building regulations.
They have ordered a new flight from us and we are selling the orginal flight directly to you. It will be going on ebay tommorow and I will post the link in due course – however, it would be much easier to deal direct – so please call if you are interested. 01794 522444
The staircase has beech treads and a white wall stringer. It forms a quarter turn, 800mm wide and is built with 12 risers to achieve a floor to floor height of 2490mm. There are brushed stainless steel spindles provided to the internal turn which do not appear on some of the ‘installed’ photos. The product itself is in extremely good condition having been installed for about a week (before being taken down) and can be viewed at our Romsey office.
Below are a series of photos showing the stair in place (without the balustrade), a plan and 3-D view of the stair and a couple of pics showing the stair ready for collection.
The stair retailed at £2700 plus vat but we are looking in the region of £1700 for the product Рwith the customer collecting. Please call us to discuss Р01794 522444.
As mentioned Рready to collect.  Retails at £2700 plus vat and we are offering at £1700. 01794 522444 Рemail@example.com  For full information, more picture etc Рplease call.
