Spiral Staircase and Staircase News

25th September 2011

Some pictures of our stunning model 76 spiral staircase supplied to a customer in our home town of Romsey.

This model has solid Acrylic treads with a brushed stainless steel central column and  along with the curved acrylic panels gives the spiral and room a really light and open feel.

To ensure the spiral met building regulations we included small riser bars which ran horizontally between the treads so the gap we not more than 100mm.

The model 76 spiral staircase can be supplied in laminated glass or acrylic treads with balustrade consisiting of vertical spindles, horizontal stainless steel bars or indeed the curved acrylic panels you see on this model.

To work out a price all we need is the diameter of the spiral and the floor to floor height.  Plus an indication of the type of balustrade you would prefer and the treads you would like.

You can see further examples of the model 76 spiral staircase below.

Earlier this year we secured the contract to supply a large bespoke spiral staircase as part of a church hall renovation near Winchester in Hampshire.  It was to become a new domestic dwelling with a large spiral stair rising from the modern kitchen to the upper level.

We now have some pictures -

This spiral staircase was custom made for our client but is from our bespoke range of spirals which are all based on the same ‘structure’ then personalised with types of treads, balustrade, height, diameter and colour.
You can see further examples at the bottom of this post-
As normal, to work out a price we need the floor to floor height and diameter.  Plus an idea of the type of treads and balustrade you would like.
