WF Stair Pics - Battle - East Sussex

Hello!!

Some more WF pictures just received for our portfolio on a CD sent by our customer. This time from the town of Battle in East Sussex.

This WF is in beech in a quarter turn configuration. You can see how the open nature of the model (no stringer on exposed side and open risers) gives the entire hallway in this house a light, airy feel.

Oak quarter turn stair pics

We had these pictures emailed last week of a stair installed in Herronsgate.

The customer went for a solid Oak stair from our modern timber range with a square mid platform.

As the customer had understairs storage we opted for closed risers and to provide a non slip effect - the treads had a black rubber strip inserted towards the front.

The staircase was based on our ‘Traditional’ structure which governs the structure but not the style. It has conventional stringers to both sides of the treads but can be modernised using a variety of balustrade options - stainless steel spindles in this case.

The customer also has a half bullnose to the bottom step.

To work out a cost for a similar model, all we need is the timber you like, the shape of the stair (straight / quarter turn / half turn), the floor to floor height and the width.

WF Staircase - just installed

Some new pictures of our ever popular WF staircase.

This WF is in a straight flight form and is manufactured in Oak.

You can see how the model opens up the room with lack of internal stringer allowing the passage of light.

This was installed near Reading and the customers comments were -

“Everyone comments when they come in the house as they are so stunning!

We are really pleased with them – the look and quality is perfect J

Genius Spiral Staircase pics

Kit spiral staircase - Genius

We don’t normally show installed pictures of our kit spiral staircases because, despite being a good product, there isn’t anything unique or bespoke about them. These pictures were emailed in last week and due to the amount of work involved securing the order and the customer’s positive response of the final product - we decided to publish them.

Clearly the project is not complete but we like this sort of picture. It shows the product in a more realistic setting without the floor ing complete, beautiful pictures and stunning lighting - it is quite refreshing!

This particular client had to enter and exit the stair in roughly the same position due to the surrounding walls. By using our computer drawing program we played around with a few options before deciding on a rotation that suited. This involved using a special trapezoidal platform at the top.

The model has white steelwork and cherry coloured beechwood treads and handrail.

The Genius system comes with either 020 balustrade (vertical steel spindles) or 010 (horizontal wires).
