The L3 features a fully spring balanced MDF trap door for easy and smooth operation, with a pressed steel ceiling hole lining for extra strength. They come with an integral architrave which covers the joint between the ladder frame and the hole in your ceiling so you don't have to pay extra for materials to make one.
The L3 comes with safety hand rails on both sides as standard, hand rails on the loft opening lining and large, comfort treads for additional safety. You can order the ladders in a 'natural' galvanised steel finish, or a white polyester powder coat finish (RAL 7035).
Since the ladder folds to store on its own hatch it takes up minimal storage space. The ladder is perfect for non standard openings and where loft space is restricted. A Free pole is supplied with the ladders.
